    Jackson Township Buildings Reopen

In our effort to balance the continuation of service, while maintaining the health and safety of our residents and employees during the COVID-19 crisis—the following updates have been made:

Public Works (Park and Highway): The Jackson Parks have begun the Responsible RestartOhioreopening of certain portions of the parks. Please use the walking/jogging track. Baseball/softball fields and tennis courts reopened on May 26, 2020, with some limitations (see Facebook and the Parks Department page on our website for specifics). The basketball courts and soccer/lacrosse/football sports fields remain closed in compliance with the Stay Safe Ohio Order issued by the Ohio Director of Public Health. We are monitoring Governor DeWine’s directives from the Outdoor Recreation Advisory Group and will make adjustments as information is made available by this group. Please feel free to exercise and enjoy the fresh air, but remember to follow the social distancing guidelines, applicable park regulations, and the Responsible RestartOhio guidelines for the activity you are engaging. If you have any questions, please use the contact information below:

Public Works (Parks and Highway): (330) 832-4016 or rrohn@jacksontwp.com
